About Kohan C. Schnurr

I’m a results-driven real estate investor and licensed Texas real estate professional specializing in strategic property acquisition, renovation, and profitable resale throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market. As a senior finance major at TCU’s Neeley School of Business, I combine academic expertise with hands-on deal-making to identify undervalued properties, maximize their potential, and deliver strong returns.

Why I Do This

I believe real estate is more than a transaction—it’s an opportunity to create lasting value for investors, homeowners, and communities. My work blends business discipline with creative vision, ensuring each project delivers measurable impact and sustainable results.

Favorite Sport?

I have enjoyed basketball since I was a kid. A lot of the intangibles of the sport have translated over to my drive to succeed in real estate investing.

How Did You Get Started?

Real estate has always been a part of my life. My mom jokes that my first fixer upper was the backyard shed that I converted to an outdoor man cave replete with electricty, ac and a tv! She let me co-invest some properties starting in 8th grade. I chose design features for an entire house that year too!

Favorite Foods?

Big fan of Hibachi - Steak and Shrimp Fried Rice! Also love Bread Zeppelin's Steak Caesar Baguette.

Where Did You Grow Up?

I was born in Canada. But I am a dual citizen as my mom is American, dual citizen as well. My claim to fame is I was actually born in the same hospital as Justin Bieber. Lived in Costa Rica for a short time as a toddler where some of my first words were in spanish such as "Cuidado" Be careful!! My early childhood was in the Greater Toronto Area, then we moved to Texas in July 2010. She bought a Bank-Owned home in Frisco, Texas in 2010. So much of my childhood was in some way shaped by real estate so it's just natural that I continue to write the next chapters building my future with what helped bring me to where I am today.

What's Next for Kohan?

I'll graduate this year from TCU - Texas Christian University. Keeping an eye out for a full time job opportunity, ideally in the Dallas metroplex. I'm going to continue building my brand to help other young entrepreneurs along the way. I subscribe to the belief that it's good to live life with one hand up - always reaching out to people that I can learn from. As well as one hand down - reaching a hand to help others learn what I have learned. Sort of a circle of life kind of thing. We are all here to grow and connect.
